The methods of harvesting vary from area to area.

The felling for our Max Meilleur et Fils sawmill is done principally by
La Cooperative des Hautes Laurentides. This cooperative is certified ISO 14001.

They are a major supplier of seedlings to our forest industry.

They grow over 6,000,000 seedlings per year.

They have close to 500 employees and they also apply various sylviculture programs.

They have over 5,000 hectares of forest.

Our Quality products and the environment.

All the sawmills we represent use all the raw material that enters their mill yards. The main product is lumber. The wood chips are used by the pulp and paper industry. The sawdust and shavings are used for the manufacture of structural panels. The bark is used as fuel or for industrial applications.

Most of the sawmills we represent use computer optimization to some degree. Certain ones, such as the Max Meilleur et Fils Ltée mill, are fully optimized.

Cobodex Lumber (1995) Inc. - for quality service, the supply of lumber products on a regular basis, both in harmony with the forest.

The majority of logs used by the sawmills we represent come from provincial forests.
The balance come from private wood lots. All logs obtained from these forests are based
on sustained yield.
